Most know as Llanfairpwll.
Is a village located in Anglesey in Welsh.
It is the longest place name in the U.K AND the third longest in the world.
NAME HISTORY:
The name was chosen inte 1860s by the town council mainly for the privilege of having the longest name of a railway station in britain.
In welsh , the town name means ¨Church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel naer a rapid whirpool
It is a tourist destination. Tourists often photographed next to the
sign indicating the name of the city, or make your passport stamped at the
local town hall.
Another attraction is the nearby Marquis of Anglesey column, from where
you have an excellent view of Anglesey and the Menai Stra the church of San
Tisilio near the red cave'.
